Steward/Proctor Rock Climbing Event (Fall 2011)
The Topsfield Playground Committee has paired with MetroRock of Newburyport, the North Shore’s premier indoor climbing facility, to offer an early release day drop-off indoor rock climbing program. This will be offered to all Steward and Proctor students and a portion of the proceeds will go towards The Steward Playground Project. The event will be Thursday Dec 8th from 2 to 4pm at MetroRock in Newburyport (20 minutes from Topsfield, right off 95). The cost is $30 per child which will cover climbing, gear, belaying, and instruction (6:1 climber: staff ratio). MetroRock is an experienced provider of various children’s programs including after school programs, climbing camps, and birthday parties.
SPACE IS LIMITED SO SIGN UP SOON! Registration form is below. For questions, please email topsfieldplayground@gmail.com. Younger pre-school age siblings and friends (from any pre-school) are also welcome to participate. Parent must stay with children age 5 and younger.

Walk-A-Thons (Spring 2009 & Spring 2011)
The children of Steward and Proctor School raised a combined total of over $20,000 at their walk-a-thons (2009 + 2011). The kids and volunteers all had a great time at these events. Thank you to all for your support and for encouraging your child to make a difference in our town! We can’t wait for 2012!
On-Line Auction (Spring 2010)
Thank you for a successful Online Auction! This fundraiser raised a gross amount of $15,000 toward the Grove Street Park project. Your support is very much appreciated!
Brick Campaign (2009-2010)
Friends of TPC had an opportunity to create a permanent reminder of their support for our community. A brick meeting area welcomes you into Topsfield’s new Grove Street Park. Each brick is inscribed with a personalized message to honor children, family members, favorite teachers, school colleagues, supporting businesses, special events, organizations and more. Thanks to all who participated in this fundraising event!
Psychic Party (Fall 2009)
TPC members would like to thank Sue Archer for all her work organizing a Psychic Party at the Gould Barn on October 8th, 2009. This private event raised $2,000 for the downtown playgrounds and was a great time for all who attended. Thanks Sue!!!

Red Sox Ticket Winners (August 2009)
Above is a picture of Topsfield Fire Department Captain Chick Denault drawing the first winning Red Sox Raffle Ticket. On the left is Jackie Arkins (age 7). On the right is Robyn Seymour (age 6). Both girls are from Topsfield. The winner of the first set of Red Sox tickets was Barbara Colvin and Larry Kellem of Hull, MA and the winner of the second set was James Gilford (aka Gilly) of Topsfield.
