Why should you get involved with the TPC?
The TPC consists of parents concerned that their children had no safe place to play in the town of Topsfield and upset that the Proctor School students (age range 9-12 years) were unable to engage in challenging, physical daily activity, at a time in their development when it is so important. Now that both the Proctor School Playground and the Grove Street Park are complete, we are focusing on the needs of the Steward Elementary School.
The following committees will be necessary to complete this project in the proposed timeframe:
- Public Relations and Marketing
- Community Fundraisers/Individual Donations
- Grants
- Corporate Sponsors/Business Donations
- Construction Management
Additionally, we will be soliciting support from the local community including contractors and landscapers to assist with:
- Breakdown and removal of the existing structure
- Excavation and surfacing
- A new walkway
- The new Playground build!
